We were thrilled to welcome Ella McSweeney and the crew from RTÉ’s Ear To The Ground to Bó Rua Farm. Ella followed the cheesemaking process from the cows being milked early in the morning right through to our cheddar cheese being enjoyed. Tom and Norma Dinneen of Bó Rua Farm have won the Rising Star Award at the Farmer Of The Year Awards 2019. The Farming Independent Farmer Of The Year Awards, are all about recognising and rewarding the very best in Irish farming. Tom and Norma received the accolade at a prestigous black tie gala awards ceremony held at the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone.
